You're basically saying people born in Canada or the U.S. should "go back where they came from". It's just silly. Along with comparing "stealing" land in the 1600's to Israel building settlements in like 2017.

It's just a nonsense argument, in a self-righteous tone, hence the comparison to WeHave.

I don't think anyone should "go back to where they came from".

Just suggesting that any non-First Nations North Americans who are saying that about Jews living in Israel should put their money where their mouths are and apply their own idiotic logic to themselves.

Campus protest is almost never about the thing it claims to be about. Ivy League students already don't live in the real world to begin with and any such protest inevitably becomes about them personally, not about whatever haughty mission they claim to be on. 20-something college kids are self-absorbed. They don't have the bandwidth or, quite frankly, the empathy needed to care about anyone besides themselves. They think they're out there, manning the barricades because they share a common cause with the Palestinians but they're really there to self-validate (and post that self-validation on social media, which gives them further validation) It doesn't help any Palestinian refugee, and as far as I know, none of these pampered future millionaires have donated one red cent to alleviate their plight nor have they started any charity aimed at helping them. I'm quite sure that the only crowd funding they're doing is raising money to maintain their encampments in the quad.

If these schools had the balls to stand up to mommy and daddy, they'd have all these pampered kids of theirs arrested, named, and expelled from the school without a tuition refund. Attending an Ivy League school is a privilege, not a right, and like any privilege it can be granted or rescinded on a whim. So say goodbye to that degree from Columbia, Chas and Pippa, and enjoy finding your first real job armed with a degree from City College.
