this poll is probably jumping the gun as he only withdrew yesterday but imo, trump winning 18-34, women and independents by a lot is pretty suspect.

The one that got me was the 46% Trump favourability, with a net -3 favourability. This is a guy who a net -10 or worse is the norm. 538's aggregrate favourability has him at net -12

On Friday he thought he could win despite everyone around him telling him he can't and the news coverage laser focused on him dropping out - for weeks.

On Saturday he changed his mind.

That must've been some data that came in that day.

There was no way Biden could have said anything other than a full-blooded "im in it to win it" until the moment when he said he was dropping out.
