OT: American Politics

Yesterday the Fed signalled it will likely lower rates in September.

Then it is reported Dotard promises he will “lower interest rates” despite it being outside the purview of POTUS.

He’ll take credit for it, and then whine that it’s a political decision that is so unfair. Credulous morons will believe this, of course.

But…. three Democratic senators also wrote to Powell complaining that inaction in rates yesterday was an unfair and unfair to them.

Lesson: political popinjays should stay away from the serious adult stuff, lest they want go down the path of Turkey or Argie.

Eh there's a very good argument that the fed helped the gop/trump with artificially low interest rates and are hurting the dems now by failing to lower them by now given all the data at the moment, like canada already has.

There's no argument for trump to say interest rates should remain this high. Not that that will stop him of course.
