so after 9 years of fighting to not pay, they lost the legal battle, and now in order to appeal that battle and not have to pay it, they have to enter that money into court to legally be able to appeal?

I dunno - sure seems like a huge boost in IRS funding 2 years ago specifically targeting big money corporate tax cheats may have helped bring this 9yr litigation to a close.

still not sure what the relevance of of them putting the money into court so they can appeal the decision they've been fighting for 9 years is tho.
