I honestly have no idea, this is one of the dumbest things I've ever fucking seen (maybe the dumbest when we consider the gays for gaza side of it). Both sides fulfill weapons contracts with Israel. One side is pushing Israel to negotiate towards a ceasefire, attempts to work towards getting supplies into Gaza, etc. The other side has quite openly stated that it wants Israel to blow more shit up and keep blowing shit up until there's no more shit to blow up.

Imo it really comes down to protest organizers thinking that they have some power over the Democrats to push them into change where protesting the Republicans is just screaming into the void, and also that protesting the democrats will be tolerated while protesting the republicans could super easily get some of them Rittenhouse'd and they're soft pussies at their core so will always take the easy way.
