Something that isn't uncommon in the industry fwiw is buying swiss movements off the shelf but having them assembled in china, then still calling the watch "swiss made" because the movement was developed and built in Switzerland (meets swiss regs to do that). But the cheapest actual swiss movement with a tourbillon is like 2-3 grand per movement. I'm going to bet that Donnie didn't actually do this though. There are a couple of chinese companies that produce ETA clones (Seagull is the one I'm familiar with but there are a few more) for about 1/10th the price.

It's no longer legally able to be called a swiss made watch at that point, but I doubt that would stop Donnie.
