The only argument with these type of quotes and the majority of his quotes is the fact that you can see the seed of an idea.
He was trying to say that if you bring down the cost of energy (in his mind gas). It will naturally save companies money and they will bring down the cost of their items.
And he probably would expand drilling and tap into the Saudi and Russian oil to lower the cost of fuel...however no one will lower the prices of things....this just creates oligarchs.
