Well your hesitancy is founded on the (correct) assumption that just because Harris wipes him off the map in the election it doesn't necessarily mean that she'll ever be permitted to take office.

When Trump inevitably loses, and by however large a margin, he and his minions, backed by billionaire oligarchs like Musk and Thiel, will claim it was rigged. Multiple lawsuits in all battleground states will be filed the minute Harris is declared the Victor. These legal challenges have already been written and are just waiting to be filed.

The day the vote is to be certified in Congress there will be more shenanigans and Qanon shamans trying to prevent the vote from taking place. But this time, Trump won't have a permit to hold a rally in the ellipse nor will he have the power to stand down the troops from crushing the insurrection before it breaches the Capitol.

But eventually, we will see "The Coup Part 2: Supreme Court Boogaloo", where Alito, Thomas, Kavanaugh and ACB conspire to kill the Constitution and pronounce Trump as Emperor for Life.

But in the meantime, yes, Harris will annihilate Trump at the polls. It won't even be close.
