OT: American Politics

The other part of all of this that I don't necessarily see talked about is that 2020 was obviously a very weird election in covid times. All of these like "OMG mail ballots are down in these counties - must be doom for XXX" I can't imagine are factoring in that maybe in some areas, people are happy to go back to in-person voting, rather than mail ballots. Or on the flipside, that Trump is not as vehemently anti-mail-in ballot this year as last time, so maybe more Republicans are going that way.

I dunno, maybe it's not a big difference either way. But I have to think when we look back at these times in 20 years, 2020 is going to look like an outlier in a lot of trends.
