Oh, yeah, your super popular "medical emergency" when a baby must be killed to save the mother. That is extremely commonplace, apparently. /s
Before your hero Trump decided to "let the states decide", doctors didn't need to also be lawyers."Roe v Wade was yet to be overturned at the time of Barnica's death, however Texas had enacted strict civil penalties for doctors performing abortions after six weeks by allowing the public to sue them for $10,000 judgements."
So the doctors decided to not fulfill their oath because of money. Should have their licenses revoked.
"The Texas abortion laws prohibit the procedure from when a fetal heartbeat is detected, except in circumstances where the mother's life is in danger."
I mean.... what is the issue here? Sounds like the doctors need to be held criminally liable. No excuse for not understanding laws around your profession if you're the EXPERT (I see you mindseye)
There are limitations and regulations on the 2nd amendment.I could say the same about irresponsible gun owners but youre not looking to fuck with the 2nd Amendment, are you?
The fact of the matter is that what a woman does with her own body is none of your fucking business and until a kid pops out, ready to become a dependent on the mother's tax return, it remains none of your fucking business.
If you are all about "protecting women", why don't you start by fighting for their right to survive in an actual medical emergency?Oh, yeah, your super popular "medical emergency" when a baby must be killed to save the mother. That is extremely commonplace, apparently. /s
And I am in no way abdicating any man for impregnating a girl. Tons of guys have no sense of responsibility or accountability. Both parties take part in the act. I think casual sex is a scourge on society. It makes it harder to have meaningful relationships and creates single parent households. It'll be a big thing I try to teach my kids. It's not worth it. Developing a meaningful relationship is more fulfilling and healthy.
So we can't trust the experts? Before your hero Trump decided to "let the states decide", doctors didn't need to also be lawyers.
See previous post about Texas's law making that possible. If you are all about "protecting women", why don't you start by fighting for their right to survive in an actual medical emergency?
If a woman is at risk of dying without proper medical attention, why aren't you demanding, as a "pro-lifer" a woman's right to be treated?
One day, this could be your wife or sister.
Or in some cases, both.
About 2% of pregnancies are ectopic, where this is literally the case. If the abortion drugs work then that is the best case scenerio, otherwise the entire tube needs to be removed. If untreated everyone dies.
And thats just one of many medical issues in pregnancy.
There is a clear medical issues. Women have died, or incurred long term debilitating injuries, in abortion ban states.
Probably because of all the illegal immigrants that don't want to be deported.his state has one of the highest maternal mortality rates. it's nearly twice the national rate.
but yeah, there are many many reasons a woman might seek an abortion. abusive partner, mental health issues, 14-16 year olds with no support, cancer diagnosis, financial trouble, a previous high risk pregnancy, addiction, etc etc etc.
it's easier for them to believe women are all just skanks tho.
Should a person be charged with murder if they kill their abusive partner, have mental health issues, be an adolescent, have a terminal disease, be in financial trouble, were previously targeted for a murder, were high, etc etc etc?his state has one of the highest maternal mortality rates. it's nearly twice the national rate.

Funny how that rise has coincided with the news about the machine malfunctions therePresto, Polymarket just tweeted Kamala took an 8% lead in Michigan odds.
If polymarket says that, then you can probably add 5-7%. Michigan does feel pretty comfortable at the moment. PA makes me a touch more nervous.Presto, Polymarket just tweeted Kamala took an 8% lead in Michigan odds.
Experts didn't write those anti-abortion laws. Christofascist misogynists did. The pity is that the people running the state of Texas are so fucking ignorant. So we can't trust the experts?
Uh oh
I'm talking about the doctors who can't find the time to learn the current regulations and requirements of their profession. And if they're not doing their CME then why did they get their license renewed?Experts didn't write those anti-abortion laws. Christofascist misogynists did.
