Seems like these gop pollsters are heavy indexing on early voting returns vs 2020.

Which makes sense to me since that wasn’t the year of a global pandemic when we practiced social distancing, professional sports were playing in empty arenas, restaurants were closed, experts recommended avoiding spending time in crowded indoor public spaces and people were encouraged to vote by mail to avoid close indoor contacts with strangers.

And yet R’s, who don’t do EV, have still made big gains on those numbers
