Nah, I thought initially it might be, but in the end was just a loner republican. But the narrative is weird "our guy is so unpopular that he upset unhinged lunatics that used to support him enough to almost tale him out." It's not exactly a ringing endorsement.
 
I think that he was defiantly shot at, seeing that someone died from bullet wounds, but in no way was he hit.

And the second shooter was 500 yards away.

The way Trump got up and shook his fist....it could not have been spontaneous.

Although I wouldn't put it past an oligarch like Thiel to decide that a dead, martyred Trump could get his meat puppet JD Vance into the Oval Office easier than trying to win an election in which the candidate was supremely unpopular.
