Also, Trump is the key in making these changes functionally permanent. If Trump had a jammer in the spring, wrangling votes would get a lot harder for Vance and everyone would start putting an eye towards the mid terms in a hurry. Trump using the next few years to lock in the autocracy is what can make this permanent. The rubber doesn't really hit the road here unless Trump survives to 2028 and shreds the constitution to run again and the more I think about it, the less I believe he makes it. Biden looked great for a 78 yr old when he ran the first time. He was 78, but was sharp.

Look at how Biden has aged in 4 years. Shit can fall off the table in a hurry at that age. Trump looks old, fat, and tired compared to that 78 yr old Biden right now. Way more comparable to 82 yr old Biden than 78 yr old Biden. He's already aging like milk. Watch him talk in 2016 and 2020 compared to now. He's already a rambling shell.
