Even just the fact that he’s making ghouls like Thiel shit bricks makes Mangione a hero in my eyes.

Too many of these ultra-wealthy fascists who dream of becoming feudal lords in a new nobility have forgotten that things like democracy, labour laws, the rule of law and even the tiniest bit of equality in incomes were hard fought-against concessions granted by historical members of their class so that the masses wouldn’t gut them in the streets or drag them out of their palaces and cut off their fucking heads.

I don't have the fucking patience. Most videos are filled with so much crap I'm bored within like a minute.

But I know I'm a weirdo. I prefer words. Words are my favourite medium. I'd rather read an article than watch a video, 10 times out of 10.

As a pretty avid youtube watcher, it's easy once you've curated your subscriptions around your hobbies and interests. Most good content creators on the platform put out weekly and that shit piles up forever and depending on what subject you're into, the content is basically evergreen. For example, I've shared videos on here from The Fat Electrician, 95% of what he does is covering the people and minutae of US history. The story of Cassius Clay (not that one...the one he was named after) isn't going to change anytime soon, so whether you come across that video today or 10 years from now it's relevant.

It doesn't matter what weirdo niche of information you're into, there's probably someone on youtube making good content about it.
 
who has time to watch all these videos? like I have a hard enough time staying up to date on my podcasts and I multi-task and listen to them all the damn time. cannot multi-task a video effectively though...
