The Nazi salute....is the Roman salute, the Nazi's co opted it from the Italian Fascists...also, the Roman's didn't actually do it, ever. Italian fascists just called it that because anything being "roman" was their kink.

This is as dumb as claiming that Elon waving a swastika wouldn't be bad because it ackshually means luck and good fortune to the Hindus.

Once the Nazi's did it, it's a Nazi thing now. That's how this works.

Well maybe Elon is just co-opting it from the nazis, like they did from the Italians, who took it from the Romans, to make it an American thing.

I'm like 80% sure that it was an American thing first ackshually. So really the south african oligarch is just taking it back for the americans.
