I was pretty excited about him coming back and felt like he had a really good opportuntiy to speak the truth of the moment but he spent the first half of election pumping "Biden old", the second half not particularly effectively communicating the gravity of the decision the country was facing, and now spends the last seconds of the process leaning into the same "corrupt Biden family" bullshit that has been on repeat on Fox for 4 years, just in a nicer, gentler way.

Keith Olbermann has similar complaints regarding both Stewart and Maher and I agree with him. Sure, it may be fun and easy to ridicule "wokeness", but nobody is getting loaded into boxcars or lynched from a tree because of it. You can't "bothsides" what MAGA is doing with woke. They are not equivalent.

I watched Maher on Friday and he had some MAGA cunt on the panel and he never challenged her on any of her bullshit. The two of them made a bizarro world comparison between Jimmy Carter and Trump sharing similar traits of not being interested in making friends and about avoiding war. Both comparisons are disingenuous in the extreme. Trump has plenty of friends, they just aren't the American people for whom he is supposed to be working. And as for wars, Trump plans to avoid them by giving shitbags like Putin exactly what they want.

as for the gaslighting, it started when they claimed he "stuttered" then Joe Scarborough and Newsom etc said he was more with it than ever, he walked off at events but oh he was just going to talk to X, he shook hands with open air, we all saw it but the media said, oh they are just doctored video.

Paul von Hindenburg in 1934 and Gandhi when he slept with naked virgins think Biden had cognitive issues.

His stuttering isn't a 'claim". He has stuttered since childhood. Look up his biography.

But yes, he was in serious trouble during his debate.
