OT: American Politics

twitter is still the place for breaking sports info.

The tide is starting to shift. All of the major sports sub reddits have started policies to ban twitter links

This has filtered down to the team pages as well who as far as I know are all in the process of banning twitter links.

Even the subreddits that haven't banned twitter links:

That's the highest rated post on R/NFL right now

nice.

didn't the NFL just come out and try to stop its teams from making bluesky accounts tho>?

and yeah actually i've been tiptoeing back into reddit, even though its so fugly. but the reddit ethos seems to be the only one that's proven to be effective in avoiding the bullshit, amazingly. I thought it would have been the opposite.

The hard part with reddit is curating from an endless amount of subreddits and not getting sucked into conversation. But using it as a news front page is pretty much unbeatable. In 10 seconds I know if anything has happened in the Raptors, Jays, Leafs universe.

pretty sure the order is just to have the files ready for review and to be declassified after that if they want.
