How protesting goes under Trump is going to be a major litmus test on whether they have a democracy anymore. If these get persistent and big, and we see the Proud Boys start to evolve into brown shirts, this becomes more than just an administrative coup, which is what they're on the cusp of now imo. There's a big, big difference between Orban authoritarianism and Putin/Xi authoritarianism.
