OT: American Politics

It's such a dumb argument to begin with. Okay, let's hope we can start with the premise that Elon isn't in there stealing millions of dollars for himself. Although we know he has already made billions in net worth by buying himself a presidency, and has also gotten rewarded with a contract for $400 million of Cybershit trucks.

People are mad that this fool, who posts something almost every day on Twitter that makes it look like he reads at a 6th grade level, is actively trying to ruin the federal government. Shutting down agencies. Firing hundreds and thousands of people. Without doing any due diligence first. Hacking into sensitive information. Using an army of idiot sycophants accessing classified and personal information. Much of this has got to be illegal. A proper program assessing spending levels and trying to legitimately save money could be useful, but it takes months to go through everything. Not a couple of days on the whim of a madman drunk with power. And the only person who can stop him is another madman with no sense of right or wrong who enabled him to do this in the first place.

This, but it’s also all a pretense to shift support from Ukraine to Russia when Zelensky wholeheartedly rejects the “peace” plan that Dotard’s people have agreed to.

I want to believe that Transactional Donnie (who will here on be known as Tranny Don) wouldn't be able to nakedly support Russia's war effort in any significant way aside from simply pulling the plug on all Ukrainian support, and maybe pulling the sanctions. Even if he wanted to, there's a pile of political and even logistical/tactical reasons that make anything more than that really difficult.

Timmy's been around a zillion years. Here's an article from 48 Hills over in the City:

"Now that Joe Gebbia, the billionaire co-founder of Airbnb, is joining Elon Musk’s attempt to dismantle the federal government, I would like to remind everyone of a little history."

(Btw, lemme know if I'm messing up posting rules/protocols/styles. Still learning my way around. 😉)

We're not really "rules" people, you're fine.
