Two things I take away from that weird-ass tweet:

  1. Trump must be really good buddies with Gretzky to bother to stick up for him like that. Which is very much not a mark in Wayne's favour for me.

  2. I don't give two shits what Wayne allegedly says to Trump in private if he's not willing to say it publicly.

In conclusion---fuck that MAGA piece of shit Gretzky, still.

I am on the side that Trump needs to run with all his policies and fuck up America to create any change from the decline of democracy within the US (and impacting the world) for quick some time. It will likely have to come down to pitch forks vs a clean vote. Or a vote that is so overwhelming that whatever Trump does with the elections in the next 2 or 4 years cannot stop him from being a dictator.

These republican Senators and the congress need to be fearful for their lives vs fearful that Elon will pay for them to be primaried to start doing the right thing. Death, injuries and real life threats will probably be necessary to R politicians for that change in mentality - which is a mess. Just having people yell at them in optional town halls is not enough. Extremes will need to happen if Jan 6th wasn’t even enough for a lot of these republicans to act like non-partician rational human beings for more than a week.

So these policies need to set off all those right wing nut jobs with guns - Medicare cuts is a nice start. Let the craziness begin!
 
According to Count (on Facebook) when asked by someone about why people are angry with Gretzky,

"...all they need is the legacy media and social media to tell them to be angry and boom, they're angry."

So "legacy media" are the bad guys, not the alt.right "news" outlets he always cites.
