I think he's got meetings in Europe this week and it's mostly the cavalry riding in with promises of money and weapons, so it should help him perk up his spirits. This shit with Trump has been working it's way towards this for a few weeks now and the ramifications for his army in the near and medium term aren't good, probably caused some sleepless night over the last little bit.

Anyone saying Zelensky "played his cards poorly" is 1) just parroting Trump's analogy, which is a not so subtle hint as to who they're listening to & 2) Saying that the only way for Zelensky to play his cards right here would have been to bend over and take whatever Trump and Vance said meekly. This shows a deep misunderstanding of how Trump functions. He doesn't repay obedience.

Yeah I almost didn't post that one because that part is pretty dumb, although it does pay to give Trump flattery so maybe that's what he is hinting at.
But when even the ardent conservatives are calling it "a day of American infamy", you know it was a terrible day for Trump.

Yeah, Zelenskyy could have been hopped up on mix of Bolivian marching powder and Red Bull but ultimately the outcome was predestined. He just looked a little tired and jaded, maybe because he knew what was coming. So, he lost his patience with these flabby, low IQ pantywaist poseurs.

Maybe, but Zelensky played that game already and got extorted for 500 billion in mineral wealth. I think it pays to give Trump flattery when he's not trying to stick something up your ass, sure. But when he's mid rape attempt it's probably time to try something different.

In the short term, there is a government shutdown coming that they don't appear to have the votes to avoid at the moment and even more chaos might ratchet up the temperature a bit.
As fucked up as it is, we've gotta start cheering for disorder and civil disobedience. Letting this clown show operate with clear skies for 3 more years and 11 months is the end of democracy in America at a minimum.
