The stupidity here is almost inconceivable. But stupid in its own right isn’t necessarily dangerous.

The danger now comes from the fact that nobody in the US will stand up to this idiot and his lies. It is all too clear that he’s laying the foundation to justify a full scale military invasion. The fact that they are all too cowardly to call out his bullshit now all but guarantees that they’ll go along with it.
