There will always be "elections", but MAGA will always "win".

Putin has been running Russia with an iron fist for a quarter century and they still have regularly scheduled elections in the Duma. It's purely performative, of course, but they continue to maintain the artifice of "democracy".

The mid terms will take place and then we will see how well the GOP has gerrymandered and otherwise fucked with the process. If it shows what I think it will show, the general elections in 2028 will be a waste of time.
