Trump is exactly what we said he was when it comes to Russia. There was coordination in 2016 because this result was exactly what Putin was hoping for. Even as people claimed the system was holding, it was actually crumbling by letting the perpetrators completely off the hook over and over again.

It’s exactly what we’ve been saying all along. Trump’s genius plan for ending the war is simply for Ukraine to unconditionally surrender to Russia and become the rump state & Belarus-style Russian satellite Putin wants them to be.

And in this scenario, after stepping down and being replaced with a pliant Russian puppet, Zelensky would also either have to flee the country into exile, or before long he’d either find himself in a Russian prison or falling out of a high-rise window.
 
Trump brain rot and fabrication aside, companies are just going to bake the tariffs into their business model under the assumption that an obese 78 yr old won't be around for long enough to make all of that Capex worth it.
