Yes we know that the current MAGA movement as it pertains to Trump has been going on for a while. If you want to refer to the Heritage Foundation specifically, it was founded in 1973.

In terms of the CURRENT ADMINISTRATION which won an election putting them in power from January 2025 to January 2029, my point was simply that this is going to a FOUR-YEAR LONG FIGHT, which has only just begun since it is currently March 2025.

Maybe it wasn't the greatest analogy, but at the same time you know what I meant (I mean ... maybe?)

And without going in circles, yes it's a very scary time and some of these people are without scruples. But at the same time, Trump is largely surrounded by sycophants and grifters and that does give me hope. And as shitty as the Dems can be, they won the last election by quite a bit more than Donnie Dotard did.

All I was really trying to say, this is absolutely going to be a 4-year long fight. Don't burn yourselves out after 3 months. The worst is yet to come.
