That's the thing. They don't care about burning things down because they don't see their lives as being very much affected one way or the other. They only see the people they hate getting burned.
Or, to put things into a different perspective, the water crisis in Flint, Michigan began in June of 2014 when Obama was still in office. Now, the feds had nothing to do with why the water got contaminated. That was a decision taken by local Republican assholes who wanted to save a few pennies by taking the city off the Detroit water system and instead drawing their water directly from the Flint River, which is polluted as fuck. Once the problem was identified, the EPA got involved which means that it was now Obama's problem to fix. Did he fix it? Well, the water didn't even start becoming safe to drink again until 2019 and it's still not completely over. The people of Flint are now living under a 4th Presidential administration since the crisis first broke, 2 Dems, 2 MAGA, and the city is still a toxic shithole.
So if you live in Flint, what incentive do you have to vote at all, let alone vote "for" or "against" something? And if voting MAGA causes chaos do you even give a shit? How does it affect your life, which, not even counting the water crisis, has been essentially the same dystopian nightmare it's been since GM shut down the plant in 1989 and threw 30,000 people out of work?
