IMO, the current political arena is outdated. Needs vision backed by data, not right vs left crap. People root for parties with the same intellect they choose a favourite sports team.
Politics desperately needs a disruptor. Trump is just a clown.

The current political arena is stale as hell. It could probably use a good disruption, this is true.

Trump is the Darth Maul of disruptors. A warning but not a serious threat. What happens on Wednesday and thereafter in the Republican Party could determine when that serious threat comes.

Of course it was. Michael Moore is correct here (strange as that is to say). Trump is a human Molotov cocktail being thrown into every congressional hearing room, every Wall Street boardroom, every major newspaper editorial room and every Ivy League sociology professor's office.

He is the Joker turned political. He's interested in watching the world burn.

There are things about the American system that could use a torch.

But Trump is an imprecise instrument, much closer to Mrs. O'Leary's Cow than he is to an acetylene torch. And there are traditions about the system we very much need and don't need burned down.

trump is a born and bred elite. always has been, always will be. he'll let the gop continue to do whatever it wants while telling everyone what a great job he's doing. he won't burn down anything except american exceptionalism, but he'll turn a good profit while he does.
