The man is an egomaniac who loves being popular and looks poised to lose the ultimate popularity contest. He'll dove tail into a pretty dark depression and will probably get real nasty after tomorrow.

Pretty ironic though that after campaigning as a straight talker and selling people on that persona on tbe basis of just saying whatever comes to mind hed be the most muzzled president ever

The past few speeches have shown him wearing his baseball hat so that it conceals most of his face. He looks exhausted.
 
my favorite of all the polls/projections today is the LA Times - they of the infamous outlier poll showing trump with a 5pt lead most of the race and still today - have Hillary winning 352evs.

They don't even believe their own poll.

That poll is different. They are polling the same group of people over and over to see if there is a change. Trump had the lead initially, and he still has it..so not much change.
 
Yeah the LA poll was more of an experiment that anything. They used final week of election tracking poll style methodology blown up to cover the majority of the election cycle.

Didn't end up panning out very well, but was a worthwhile attempt.....obviously has no impact on their electoral projections.

Which is also kind of how most polls played out....for all the convention bumps, scandal plummets, debate boons.....everything kind of just settled back to where we were when it all began.....which is pretty much exactly where things were when Obama-Romney ended.

yep. unfortunately had a rather big impact on popular simplistic poll averages like RCP.
