OT: American Politics

Curious, I know all the polls had Hillary winning but does anyone remember what they were pre-2016 election in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania specifically?

France banned hydroxychloroquine.

Trump threatens to shut down Twitter... is a real sentence I'm saying in 2020.

Pompeo says no.

@SecPompeo

The U.S. stands against, and will not tolerate, government-imposed Internet shutdowns and other forms of censorship during or after this pandemic. We join @FO_Coalition’s call to promote and protect #InternetFreedom at all times.

will be interesting if/when the Democrats win - will they go back in time and look at everything that was overlooked and prostitute.
Probably... They are spineless after all but I suspect you meant prosecute. And for that I point back to the spineless thing and go no...

nah the imbalance will continue.

Dems will get back in and try to re-establish bipartisan objective norms and procedures as usual, and then the gop will come in next time and abuse it into disarray again, and repeat.

The system needs a flush that even if the electorate gives the Dems the ability to do (all 3 branches plus a wave in the state houses), I don't know if they're willing/capable of.

Modernization of voting regs/systems (or go back to paper...there is literally nothing wrong with paper, the machines are a nightmare), roll back gerrymandering and regulate how election maps are drawn, election days are a paid national holiday, etc.

Elections shouldn't be decided by who gets to draw the maps, whose right to vote is infringed upon, 4 hour line ups at polling stations in "less white" neighborhoods, and being worried about losing money/missing work.

Even with the financial fall out from covid, it's the most important thing facing a Biden presidency. If he manages to pull it off, he'll go down historically as a pretty transformative president.

Remember he's about to walk away from Twitter and doesn't need social media...

Can this guy get off his fat ass and work? Golfs, watches TV, Tweets, repeat.
