From that article:

“Similar or more severe restrictions apply to comparable secular gatherings, including lectures, concerts, movie showings, spectator sports and theatrical performances, where large groups of people gather in close proximity for extended periods of time,” the chief justice wrote. “And the order exempts or treats more leniently only dissimilar activities, such as operating grocery stores, banks and laundromats, in which people neither congregate in large groups nor remain in close proximity for extended periods.”

Makes sense to me.

“Well, Jim, after a slow start it looks like Brazil really got into the groove and is gonna be a serious contender for the silver medal.”

it’s a feature, not a bug:

Brazil Government Aide Says COVID-19's Toll on Elderly Will Reduce Pension Deficit As Country's Outbreak Escalates

"It's good that deaths are concentrated among the old."

"That will improve our economic performance as it will reduce our pension deficit," Veira reportedly added, according to Croda.

If anyone's quarantine bored, go back to this thread starting from November 2016 and skim through all the posts claiming how people are acting silly and overreacting about what a Trump presidency would look like. Fun stuff.

Ok people, take a breath. The GOP didn't want Trump. They're not going to be lapdogs and push through anything he wants. Conversely, Trump has a bone to pick with the GOP so seriously, relax. I've got some concerns yes but it's not time to freak out. - Habsy Nov 9, 2016

Well I wasn't posting (in) here at the time.. I was worried about a Trump Presidency but I had hoped that his voters were correct and that he would bring some new ideas and results.. Instead he was the Toddler I expected him to be.. his pettiness his narcissism all proved to be correct. Also I don't get at all how he became the man of the working man considering his history of screwing them out of money and not honoring contracts..

I respect those who admit they were wrong, better than the pricks who still support the orange clown and label you a snowflake. Fuck right off with that shit
