OT: American Politics

Evangelicals are special though. They are scripturalists, they believe thing are literally true (or act as such.) They will not respond to the idea that the New Testament text was heavily influence by Greek allegorical thinking.

All they're doing is wasting what little time they have to do something real before the GOP takes over the House after the midterms and shuts everything down. Republicans are just letting the clock run out because they know they can pull the plug on this investigation by xmas.

The Dems never should have empaneled a commission in the first place. It was unnecessary. Biden should have simply appointed a Special Prosecutor and that Prosecutor should have been spending the last year handing out criminal indictments. But as it happens, half the people who should have been sent to jail will instead be running for reelection this fall.

But can you really refer to them as 'marks' when they practically seek him out trying to throw money at him? They aren't being grifted because that would mean that they are being duped. I don't know that they even care that they're being duped. They would still give him the money even if he told them he was conning them. They are willing victims.
