OT: American Politics

if democracy survives America's fascist revolution, this period of time is going to be looked back on as the one that demonstrates the importance of quality, publicly funded and widely available education.

At this point, it kind of feels like the best we can hope for is that the fascist takeover of America will be as brief and inward-facing as possible.

are you shitting me.

This one must bug you even more since you recieve actual emergency calls. This call and the cop who went there could have gone somewhere where a real emergency was happening.

Everyone knows not to call 911 for non emergency. Yesterday there was this Indiana guy who runs a car wash and spotted a couple of fugitives. I found it interesting that in his interview after the arrests, he mentioned that he found the local police station number cause he didn't want to call 911.

It never says in the article that she called 911 so it's probably likely that she did use the non-emergency line. Still though, it's typically the same people answering the two lines and I could tell you what we'd say to an average person about sidewalk chalk.

Unless someone drew a bunch of swastikas or threatened violence, wash it off.

Republicans wanting to make themselves victims while they're actively trying to take away rights from others is so gross.
