I mean, the fact that arranged marriages have a rough divorce rate of 4% in nations where they're traditional expectations and 40% in the US kind of underlines the overall point that the more restrictive the society they're in, the less likely a divorce is. The variance between arranged and non arranged in western nations is really likely to be cultural/family enforcement than it is a sign of relationship success.
