at the risk of sounding like one of those conspiracy theorists I disparaged earlier, I have noticed that Trump allows himself to go after corporations (or important trade partners) only if the market is riding high. and if the stock market doesn't like it, he'll send out one of his lackeys to walk it back

What I'm interested in, from a legal perspective, is how fact checking counts as violation of free speech. You absolutely have the right to free speech (*) in the US, what you don't have is the right to be right. Is the platform fact checking you not them exercising their free speech? Aren't you violating their right to free speech by stifling their ability to debate you by way of fact checking?
This is a gross assault on free speech clothed in the defence of it.
