According to the park police. Which I'm sure you and zeke view as liars, the only people gassed were those attacking police. There would have been collateral damage.


My point is that everything is not Trump's fault, even though most like to think it is. Trump is Trump and he does leave a wake but I'm getting more than a little tired of the focus on that and zero focus on victims of this bullshit.

Who cares if he did or didn't directly order the use of a particular tactical strategy? He was the reason the cops decided to tear gas/smoke bomb peaceful protestors all so he could make a political statement trying to reverse the narrative that he is in fact a baby back bitch.

As usual, you are fixating on the wrong part of this story.

You don't recognize the irony in this? The word of police doesn't mean shit right now. Especially when there is major corroborating evidence to the contrary of their story.

No I'm not. I'm focusing on the fact people are ignoring the victims of the violence. I'm tired of the condoning of the actions of the mob.

So your condoning violence? Just looking for clarification. As I said, those doing the damage are excused as a small group among the protesters, which is bullshit, but all the police are liars now because of a few. Convenient.

The tweet led to the story dumbass.
I'm not sure why you're deciding to nitpick this particular issue as if somehow it matters who exactly ordered the tear gas, or even if it was tear gas even if it was just smoke.... That still means force was used on American citizens so the president could hold a Bible up in front of a church
 
Well a statement was just released refuting those claims. As I said. The tendency here is to ignore anything exculpatory.

Stop pretending there isn't violence going on and that everyone is innocent.
 
It's amazing, anyone that poses a question or provides anything that disagrees with the agenda here gets attacked.

I'm still waiting on the response of condoning this violence. Crickets.
 
I'm not sure why you're lumping me in the bandwagon who thinks everything is hunky-dory with America burning...I actually think it would be tough and downright scary to be a cop right now standing in front of these angry people.
I'm also pretty sure that most of the destruction is being caused by groups that do this for fun and that these groups come in all colours shapes and sizes
 
Let's make a list of things we can all agree on and go from there.

- Violence and looting are wrong and are not helping the situation.
- Victims should be heard, and given assistance to whatever extent possible.
- Trump is a malevolent buffoon.
- Freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and freedom of the press are guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.
- George Floyd was straight-up murdered.
- In the best-case scenario, it's not just a few bad apples in law enforcement. It's A LOT of bad apples.
- Police reform is required. NOW.

That's not the same thing as a crowd being pushed back so the president can have his picture taken in front of a church. It was that pushing back that led to the resistance that led to the tear gas
