People seem so hardcore against vertical video (and pictures) that you would think they are vegan crossfitters.

Phones are the primary way we are looking at video and pics so it makes sense that a lot of stuff is taken to fit that screen.

It really comes down to whether or not the video is specifically for social media or not. Portrait is a junk orientation (square almost as bad) for making good video most of the time.

If you're shooting video for IG, yeah, whatever.
