OT: American Politics

But there was no damage to men from a fascist trust fund baby reality TV star trying to overthrow the government eh?

What's this called again? I think it's called "concern trolling".
Really, who the hell has ever been "more qualified?" Strictly on their resume... Biden and Kamala have to be at the top of the list. Putting aside opinions on how you might feel about their political views of course.

I mean there is no better job experience for the job of President, than being the Vice-President for 4 years. None.

There for all the meetings, knows all the policies, met all the people.

Prosecutor, District Attorney, Senator. It's absurd to argue she isn't qualified. And also misogynist.

Yeah, Biden obviously about as strictly qualified for the job as anyone in post WW2 American politics.

It really comes down to what you think the job is. IMO there's a handful of prerequisite areas of knowledge to judge someone on.

- National Security/Foreign Policy
- Economics
- Law (How laws should be constructed to be fair, constitutional, etc..understanding the office of the president, it's powers and restrictions)
- Politics (how to actually get shit done in Washington)

There's others of course, but if you can manage those 4 well enough you're going to have a pretty decent Presidency barring some crazy shit outside of your control happening. I have some foreign policy concerns with Kamala because she's inheriting Biden's legacy in my eyes until proven otherwise. Econ should be strong. She has enough academic education in it to understand smart from dumb and inherits the Biden economy, which is very strong regardless of how it's perceived. She obviously has a strong understanding of the law, and was part of a Biden admin that got a surprising amount done.

All I'm going to say is that undiagnosed bi polar more common than you think.

I had a family member have a manic episode this year that lasted about 6-8 weeks. Trying to talk her during the episode reminded me of a bunch of weird conversations I had with people I knew over the years where you weren't sure if they were on drugs, weird liars, making shit up to fuck with me, etc.
