I was thinking about this the other day. What is the difference in life for myself and elon. Basically we put in a few hours of work, go on social media, and play some video games. What a waste of being a billionaire.

The best, most unproblematic uber-rich tech person in modern history by far is still this guy:

Made a successful business and sold it for more than half a billion dollars.

Then promptly completely dropped off the public radar and has spent the rest of his life since not working any job, not trying to be a public figure or amass political power or social influence and hasn’t feverishly worked to further grow his fortune to the GDP of a small nation. Instead he’s quietly enjoyed his wealth and his unlimited ability to indulge his interest in travel & photography.

It’s completely beyond my understanding why more of these guys don’t do this.

Kinda like youth being wasted on the young... Being rich is wasted on the billionaires

It was hard to get a message out during the campaign because of all the misinformation, and just so many people on the right CONVINCED that Biden was terrible and Trump would fix things, and all that bullshit. But then they won. Now they can see (or be reminded) just how shitty Trump actually is.

Of course there's a lot of cult members with their heads in the sands, but there are millions of people who voted for Trump but aren't necessarily true believers ... gotta try to get through to as many of them as possible, as soon as possible.

Walz and Gavin are running for Prez for sure given that both are trying to “talk to the other side”, something that is a constant theme for democrats inability to do so.

Let’s see who does it better, but I have a feeling the strategy will not hold. There is no talking to lunatics in order to convince them of what they chose.
