OT: American Politics

I think I find people who after 10 years didn't see this coming more exhausting than the actual administration.

I don't know how many times you had to watch Trump demonstrate clearly that he a) doesn't know how things work b) would increasingly surround himself with figures that said never said no to him/wouldn't stop him from not following the law c) doesn't give a shit about Americans whatsoever.

And still, the benefit of doubt over and over and over. And still, "you're overreacting" over and over.

the lesson to be learned here by the money guys is that lawlessness and authoritarianism is always very bad for business.

that's the only way any of this gets salvaged.
