It’s been wild watching players in my industry make significant changes to their pricing strategy, logistics and long-term planning in response to these tariffs, only for this demented lunatic to repeatedly upend the chessboard on a whim and make businesses contend with an entirely new reality…which might completely change again in 90 days, or maybe it won’t, or maybe it’ll change tonight when Trump’s sundowning and sends out another China rage tweet at 1 AM.

This level of uncertainty is just complete poison for businesses.

Yeah, you're going to get people order 20k of merchandise from China while the pause is on to restock, but when their shipment arrives it's unknown whether the tariff rate will be 10% or 30% or 145% or 3250%.
 
Credit to my paisano Charles throughout this entire tariff thing. His coverage has been excellent and he's been critical the entire time.
