Inflation would be back under control after the Covid supply side shock, more or less, if Jabba hadn’t toyed with tariffs and bombed Iran. Inflation has shown it can be controlled if the Fed is allowed to do its job and the country isn’t run by a criminal cabal.

(The real issue is wage stagnation. It’s been decades in the makings.)

Lowering prices through monetary policy would absolutely cause a recession. There are, however, regulatory and fiscal measures than can lower prices in certain sectors ( so, not general price deflation) through other policy tools. But one must assume they are heavily influenced by the rent-seeking lobby groups and interests of monopolistic incumbents.
 
I have no issues with libs talking to psychopaths, but Gavin getting obliterated by one of the dumbest fake smart human beings of all-time, Charlie Kirk, was very disappointing.


But I guess Gavin got the last laugh in the end

I’m not a Gavin booster but I wish more politicians tried new tactics in between campaign cycles. Occasionally failing is the risk one takes. But I appreciate it
 
Let's also remember that the Democratic establishment will absolutely not run AOC in the next election, if ever. Too young, no penis. While the octogenarians still have a firm grip on the party they'll run out someone like Gavin time after time since they know a woman can't win.

Palling around with the opps isn't exactly a new tactic for the Democrats though. That's kind of their thing.
 
I appreciated Gavin's attempt to open conversation but I felt he read the situation wrong. He was literally asking Charlie for advice on how to win people over. Charlie responded with "come up with better ideas" and Gavin laughed and agreed and didn't push back at all. It looked sad and weak and pathetic.

I expected an actual debate, instead I got a guy fawning over some dude that got his neck blasted by a bullet.

I hadn’t really noticed that. 95% of the big Dems I’ve seen are scared to hit Fox News or even a friendly arena like Bill Maher

The "game" is ridiculous and makes me cringe. But unfortunately, being a debate bro on public forums and challenging the lunacy that's out there, is currently the game. And yeah, the Dems don't have much of an appetite for that. Gavin included. I give him credit for trying to mix it up, but he didn't actually do what the situation called for and imo made things worse by sane washing those folks by not challenging them.
