OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

DP in the past you said you don't know many people who have tested positive for covid. I can assure you that we'll all soon know a bunch! It's gonna be weird times. I'm already hearing about some people getting covid second hand.
I think I directly know of less than five folks who have had it. Not including you in that count.

But yeah, expect that to change right quick.
 


So boosters start at 67% VE vs symptomatic illness. After 3 months it's down to 54.6%. Mucho better vs severe disease tho.

Ok, Dr Presto. I don't really know how to read that chart. Is that showing AZ to Pzer booster is kind of not great?
 
@Leafyblue nope. 30 days post booster for someone who received AZ-PF for their first two and there is 94.5% protection against severe disease (omicron) and 67.7% protection against infection (omicron). for Delta changes to 99% and 92%

No hospitalization but it isn't a fun time. This word "mild" gets thrown around way too liberally.
