I think (and this is through no fault of most people since this is what is discussed in the news and whatnot) that people assume that the only endpoints of covid are death and full recovery. I'd probably be a lot more care-free if that were the truth. Truth is up to a third of infected people still aren't fully recovered after 3 months. That's kind of crazy and it's hard to know what that means for long-term impacts.
My mentality is that it's always worth delaying your infection as future vaccines/treatments continue to be worked on in the background. Especially for young folks.. they've got a long life ahead of them.
