OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

I didn't say conditions were normal...but perhaps close enough and relatively acceptable (ie extremely inconvenient rather than life threatening)
Definitions of what is acceptable vary...I personally don't think they were good enough during pre-covid normal but that's a health care budget issue
in fairness I do not know for certain either way, I guess I'm just not inclined to believe the politicians really consider health policy much at all when making their decisions

And this is why we're reopening. It's about the hospitals and deaths folks. Always was. Didn't include the whole thread but here's most of it. This guy has been the MVP of covid data analysis:

If the only two outcomes were survival and death I'd say let's rock and roll. Unfortunately long-term effects from covid are significantly more common than with the flu. Must be something in the spike protein because long covid CAN happen through vaccine injury too. Extraordinarily rare but possible.

Knock on wood very mild so far.

Sporadic cough, some leg aches, reduced taste/smell.

Also intermittent bleeding from extremities but that’s not unusual for me so probably not covid related.

Feel better!

The smell/taste is a huge bitch. Give me all the respiratory stuff and leave my palate alone.

I had always just assumed one of your 100+ infected friends had given it to you at some point. Hope it is short, sweet, and mild.

One thing to note is that I caught this shit at a superspreader event and of all the people there, only two of us were taking ivermectin as a prophylaxis and we both got very mild infections (so far).
