back to the whole masking and covid thing - further evidence of the value and efficacy of masking.
I went on a vacation with my wife last week, along with a group of friends. she had previously been at a work conference, where she picked up covid (turns out it was a bit of a super spreader event, at least 1/3 of her colleagues also got covid). she was symptomatic on thursday, and I met up with her and our group on saturday. we then drove 4+ hours in the same car, hopped on a boat all together, and went off to our lil cabin.
anyways, she wore a mask indoors and slept separately, unmasked. she ate outdoors, unmasked, with some slight social distancing. I rejoined her in bed on I want to say the Tuesday night and by Wednesday she was unmasked indoors.
no one else in our group got covid.
