I don't have an account!!!
who is that guy and why was he trending on twitter yesterday? Can someone tell Bruce Arthur to shut the **** up? He's mad that the NACI told the truth? Nonstop hyperbolic meltdowns with that guy.
He's a Toronto Star journalist that melts down for a living. No idea why he was trending but it was probably covid related. I agree with the direction he takes (anti Dougie Ford) but he's incredibly hyperbolic and needs to breathe and pick his spots better!!!!who is that guy and why was he trending on twitter yesterday?

Their job is to make recommendations. Their recommendation is to wait for an mRNA vaccine if you can. Their job is not public health communication for the country. Brucie and others want them to say to get whatever vaccine you are offered but based on the facts they believe that's not advisable. It would be great if there were no risks. But there are. So they communicated that because it's their job.
They did though. I didn't see the interview till after the post. That wasn't ideal, I agree. I was referring to his reaction to the recommendation itself. He's mad because it doesn't suit what he wants. But the science supports it.This is actually the exact opposite take you had re the Costco pharmacist.
Their job is to make recommendations based on facts -- saying there is a risk and people need to take this into consideration is perfectly acceptable. Going on TV and making emotional arguments about being scared your family member is going to croak does seem very irresponsible though.

Yeah I didn't see the interview thing till after. That was horrible communication. I wasn't talking about that.NACI made a decision based on science and then a NACI doctor went on CTV to IMO, undermine that with poorly communicated emotional rationale about if her sister was to die. Don't think Arthur should complain about the former but the latter is definitely shitty.
I will. Tomorrow.Canada is scheduled to receive 4.1m AZ in June. If we get just over half of that, everyone's second dose comes as well. 2.3m people will be vaccinated with AZ in Canada total.
