OT: Health and Nutrition

I'm a chicken so giving myself a needle doesn't sound fun but what are people's thoughts on creatine?
yeah, was just gonna ask the same question. I have come to the conclusion that most people should be taking creatine. But regardless of the claims that many people make about alternative types of creatine (who often, coincidentally, happen to sell more expensive supplements) the general consensus is that taking boring old creatine monohydrate powder is totally fine for most people.

just take 5g of creatine powder daily and adjust upwards as needed. Mix it with any liquid and you're good.

The shot is a few MM deep, you dont even feel it.

Yes, need to watch diet (protine intake) and workout when on a GLP-1 most don't.

Its still a great class of drug (lowers risk of dementia, some evidence of cancer resistance etc.)

Overall just forces you to stick to portion control and therefore think about what you are investing more.

Yeah, I'm starting in a few weeks. Will report back to the group. Protein intake and lifting have never been my problem, so I don't think I should struggle with the muscle wastage much. I've spoken to a few people who have trained clients on GLP's and the canary in the coal mine is an easy one to track. If you're able to move less weight, you're probably losing muscle, proceed accordingly. But as mentioned by others, this isn't the drug doing it. This is normal for any period of rapid weight loss.

Ive been on one for a little while. Down 40lbs (trending towards 50lbs), probably some muscle but feel way better and just did a full house move and can still get the job done.
