OT: MLB Thread

Dodgers are more depleted than Giants.

No they aren't. The Giants have been depleted all year and have rarely played with a full lineup. The Giants are missing the best SS in the NL, a damn good 2nd basemen, and both the centre and right fielders. If they hadn't picked up Byrd, there would be little left in the lineup after Posey and arguably Belt.

Yada, yada, yada. No WS for them this season.

talk to me when your team actually wins a playoff series let alone a WS. You always know it is the playoffs when Kershaw is giving up homeruns.

I knew we wouldn't win this year anyway, it is an odd year. We only win in even years so 2016 is our year.

I can't recall... did he ever actually pitch for the Expos or was he injured?

I do recall he looked quite large for a pitcher thinking he had just a few years left in the game so it is quite surprising to see him still going.

He pitched here. You may be confused with IRobU Upperdecki

I remember the old fanhome site collectively cumming when they got him, or was that when they got Fatis.

I know. The Dodgers will likely lose in the divisional playoffs. Their lineup even when healthy is not too good. They're like the Habs in the sense that they rely too much on one positional strength to win.

Really late game between Giants and Dodger. Ended at 12:40am with a Dodger win in 14. Vin was getting tired. Referred to the Giants as the Angels.
