Denis Coderre talks Baseball in Montreal

http://theconcordian.com/2015/09/38321/

TC: "Who is John McHale?" ... lol

TC: "Do you believe that baseball in Montreal can garner enough support to last a gruelling 168-game MLB regular season?"... I know I don't watch MLB anymore since the Expos left but did they expand the schedule to 168 games or is this guy a little confused by the amount of games played in MLB?

Overall Coderre is a refreshing face for sports in Montreal compared to the other recent losers who have only worried about how much tax money they could make from the Bell Centre. He has a bit of Drapeau in him in that he thinks bigger than what reality really is but you need a guy like that rather than someone who has never been to a baseball game in their life.

Have to think the fall in the Loonie is derailing any hopeful plans of finding a Billionaire owner to bring the Expos back so it looks like Montrrealers will have to sell out the Big O for some regular season games next season if they want to keep the dream alive.

Greinke improved to 15-3 and lowered his ERA to 1.59 in the victory. With a month left to go, he looks to join Clayton Kershaw, Greg Maddux and Ron Guidry as the only pitchers with three or fewer losses and an ERA under 2.00 (minimum 20 starts) in a single season since earned runs were first tracked in 1912 in the National League and 1913 in the American League, per Elias Sports Bureau research.

I wonder what Andre Ethier's stats. would be if he played against lefties too as his numbers vs. righties are excellent.

Ethier I think has one of the largest career platoon splits in history. He's got a career .638 OPS vs L and .889 vs R. He's the definition of a player who should never face a lefty if you can at all avoid it.

Gotta say, the Jays run has made me totally forget the NHL off-season. And I'm pretty sure as long as they keep winning, I will barely pay attention to the Habs until the Jays season is over.

Krust, didn't you claim last month you were cheering for Toronto's team like the bandwagoner you are? If so, how can you also serve the Dodgers. A slave cannot serve two masters.

maybe it is a joint custody fandom

Krusty gets the Dodgers on weekdays and the Jays every second weekend
