Yeah, more than one review compares it to Roger Moore's Bond films. I'll have to see for myself of course.
He was a good guy in Django Unchained. Love that movie btw.Without going into "The Twist", it's sounds ridiculous.
I don't see how they can bring SPECTRE back into a film after this.
And despite being an incredible actor, I'm a little tired of Waltz playing the bad guy.
It's the new millenial standard. Tv, movies have to have deep meaning be edgy etc. Sometimes you just want mindless entertainment for a couple of hours. Bond provides same. Also people need to stop treating Bond films like art films or Oscar winning pictures. They aren't. Good or bad they're in a class of their own.
I mean how many of the 24 Bonds film have had "good" plots.
Ya. Bond films are mostly terrible.
I think we've talked about this before on here. But Bond should be, at least a little, camp. The new serious is completely devoid of any humour. It's basically a high class "Taken".
I respectfully disagree. I think the only 'camp' Bond needs is like the scene in Skyfall where Bond tears the face of the train car off and jumps into it, he fixes his coat and cuffs like he's about to walk into a formal event.
